...that is currently how I am spending my morning for fun! When Humdrum’s brakes were getting done last Tuesday (June 16th, 2020), I went on an adventure taking a walk around the overgrown salvage yard out back!
Currently putting all the footage together in Shotcut...
...labeling every single car I saw on-screen for the benefit of our non-North American friends who may not know them as well!
It’s a tad tedious, but about 3/5ths done so far! :P
Stay tuned in the next few days if you care to waste 40 minutes watching me explore some old autos...

That looks familiar to me, except I detach the audio usually. Shotcut is great for those simple things. I can’t wait.

I had been looking for some free/open source video editing software.
Thanks for giving me ideas!

You can do more complex stuff with it as well if you get used to it! Just no super fancy effects...and maybe you can even do those, I just don’t know how to yet :P
Also, no detached video in my case, but there are three video tracks on the go for overlays of images.

No problem man! I highly recommend it....Shotcut is pretty easy to learn and
has loads of tutorials out there, it’s free, open-source, has frequent updates and you can do pretty much anything with it if you get used to it. Not sure about SUPER fancy effects like you’d find in, say, Sony Vegas or some such, but it’s a really good program. I use it for whatever video editing I do! :)
